Price Sync

Price Sync pushes selling prices from MYOB AccountRight into Shopify. Like Stock Sync, MYOB is the source of truth — a manual price edit in Shopify is treated as drift and gets overwritten by MYOB on the next run. Turn it on with the master Enable Price Sync toggle.

Choose which MYOB figure becomes the Shopify price:

  • Base Selling Price (default) — MYOB’s standard selling price for the item
  • Price Level A–F — one of MYOB’s six configurable price levels, if your company file uses them

Set Compare At to populate Shopify’s strikethrough/RRP price alongside the sale price. Choose a second MYOB field — typically a higher one than your main Price Source, such as Base Selling Price or a specific Price Level — and it’s written to Shopify’s compare-at price on every run.

MYOB flags each item as tax-inclusive or not. If that doesn’t already match how you want the price to display in Shopify, set Tax Handling to Add or Remove, with your GST/tax rate — InSyncer adjusts the MYOB price up or down before writing it. Leave it at None if both systems already agree.

Only variants whose price (or compare-at) actually differs are updated, matched on MYOB Item Number = Shopify SKU. Before every push, InSyncer re-reads live Shopify prices first, so a manual edit made directly in Shopify is picked up as drift and corrected from MYOB on the next run — the same behavior as Stock Sync.

Price Sync can run three ways, alongside the master enable toggle:

  • With inventory’s incremental schedule — its own frequency/time, syncing only prices that changed recently in MYOB
  • With inventory’s full schedule — a full catalogue price reconcile, alongside the nightly stock clean-up
  • Manually — three on-demand buttons are always available regardless of schedule: Sync prices from MYOB → DB, Sync prices from DB → Shopify, and Full Price Sync
